Golden Gate Bridge Visitor's Experience Center installs a discreet drainage option: ACO Brickslot

The Golden Gate Bridge Visitor’s Experience Center was newly renovated to give guests information related to its tremendous 746-foot tall towers, sweeping main cables, signature International Orange color, and Art Deco styling. It is a sensory experience featuring color, light, and sound.

This job required the designer to incorporate a drainage system with the aesthetics of the area in mind. The drainage needed to blend in with the brick paver hard scape.

ACO’s Brickslot was a perfect choice for that requirement because it was designed specifically for use with brick or stone pavers to blend into its surrounding area. The discreet slot opens up underneath to a polymer concrete sloped drainage channel.

Additionally, ACO Brickslot has an access unit that provides a discreet access to the channel and catch basins for the cleaning and maintenance of the drainage system.
